Jumping rope is always fun. You can do it however you like, by yourself, with a friend, or with many friends!

Jumping rope is just one of the many activities you can do to get some good exercise but you won’t even notice you’re exercising!

First, try one small jump rope by yourself. Try to see how many times you can jump over it without stopping. After practicing for a while, then try some tricks.

  • Jumping on one leg
  • Switch legs
  • Go faster

If you want a challenge, try it with friends! This is called double dutch.

Two friends hold the end of two ropes. Then someone jumps in the middle when there is an opening. This is hard but once you get the hang of it, it’s really fun!
So keep practicing! Jump rope can be really fun!
