By teaching your children healthy eating habits, and modeling these behaviors in yourself, you can help your children maintain a healthy weight and normal growth. Also, the eating habits your children pick up when they are young will help them maintain a healthy lifestyle when they are adults.

Apples, Bananas, and Carrots are all healthy fruits and veggies! Eating healthy shouldn’t be boring, we can make it fun and delicious! Healthy food helps us stay strong and healthy! Berry will teach us how to start making healthier food choices and how to have a healthier lifestyle.
A big Thank you to the coaches and staff at Montclair Elementary! I had a great time with your kiddos. Today we had 90 students in attendance. Your students were amazing and very respectful. We introduced our new video out called “Wonderland of Fantasy”to the 4th and 5th graders. This video teaches students about the brain and mental health. The students also talked about mental health and depression and peer pressure. They asked many questions and we also discussed bullying. We talked about the 4 parts of the brain that help with the mental health and how healthy foods can help with depression. Did you know that the Cerebrum is the largest part of the brain and its capacity is 85% of the brain. We did some brain exercises and the kids were challenged on some of these exercises. The students also had their favorite veggies and fruits that we talked about which is carrots, cucumbers, cilantro, lettuce, jalapenos, and cabbage which are very healthy for these kiddos.
Lime green ribbons are used to represent childhood mental illnesses as well as childhood depression and mood disorders.
